Review:
I have read quite a few of Phillippa Gregory's books and thought they ranged from so-so to really great. However, I thought that "Wideacre" was truly dire. I did what I almost never do and finally gave up on it. I have never read a book with so many horrible characters and such a tedious plot. To compare the heroine to Scarlett O'Hara, as the book cover did, is a joke. Linda.
