Review:
I loved this book because, though dated by now, it is so easy to read and includes a practical list with general description of the main New Religious Movements (and a rich bibliography). A perfect introduction, particularly interesting for the hints on the socio-psychologal forces behind leaders of movements, converts and their families. One of its main aims is in fact to face the concerns of family and friends of converts who left 'the old way for the new': it was not so clear from the title, though.
